Kindy Buddy Reading Program

In Term 1 our Year 6 students have been hosting Kindy Buddy Reading session with our little friends from Acorn East and Forestview Kindies.

The Buddy Reading program provides valuable lifelong skills to all involved - our Kindy Buddies grow as readers when they hear the older students model fluent reading, and it helps our Year 6's feel comfortable reading aloud and also gives them the chance to act as mentors and practice leadership and patience.
